What is your cancellation policy?
To reserve an appointment, we require a credit card on file. We understand things come up, so we’re happy to cancel or reschedule with at least 48 hours’ notice.
- Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will be charged 50% of the scheduled service.
- Same-day cancellations or no-shows will be charged 100% of the scheduled service.
How can I book an appointment?
You can book in two ways:
- Call us at 858-201-6803 to speak directly with our receptionist for personalized guidance.
- Book online by selecting your service and stylist. Your appointment will be pending until confirmed by our team.
I’m booking a color service — how do I know what to choose?
If you’re unsure which color service to book, please fill out our online consultation form. A stylist will review it and help determine the best option for you.
What’s the difference between Full Head, Half Head, and Partial Highlights?
- Full Head Highlights are the go-to service if you’re new to Radar or seeking a major transformation. Nearly all of the colors seen on our Instagram — along with today’s most popular styles — require a full head of highlights to achieve the desired result.
- Half Head or Partial Highlights are considered maintenance services and won’t produce the dramatic changes most first-time clients are looking for. Once you begin working with your stylist, they’ll help you forecast future maintenance appointments and build a plan to reach your dream hair goals.
What’s is a Balayage and is it for me?
If you are looking for a Balayage then select a Full Head, Half Head, or Custom Highlight. Traditional Balayage is a hand painting technique that creates a very subtle natural, sun-kissed look with seamless dimension and a soft grow-out, and is not a typical service we use to significantly lighten hair. Don’t worry, your stylist will choose the most optimal technique for lightening your overall look customized to your desired results.

What is a color correction or transformation service?
These services are for major changes (like removing warmth or going significantly lighter). They involve multiple steps and advanced techniques.
Color transformations are charged at a base day rate, which may increase depending on the time and process required. Your stylist will always communicate any changes in pricing.
Do you accept gratuities?
Yes, gratuities are appreciated and can be added via credit card or cash. If an assistant supported your service, your stylist will distribute the tip accordingly.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept:
- All major credit cards
- Cash
- Gift certificates
We do not accept checks.
What if I’m unhappy with my service?
Your satisfaction is our priority. If you’re not happy with your results, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment to schedule an adjustment with your stylist.
Can I return or exchange products?
- Products: While we don’t offer refunds, lightly used products can be exchanged for another of equal or lesser value within 30 days of purchase.
- Styling tools: Final sale. No returns or exchanges.
